Thank you so much sir for your packaged information.
Let’s do it
I am a successful event planner and worked in hotels all my life, nearly every position up to AGM. I have my house outfitted with lights and cameras and am yearning to get involved in this industry. I saved my money and now have the ability to open my own event center but I have no professional A/V experience, I wonder if I should first start working for an A/V company or just open my event center, hire an A/V team and train with them and I can learn from a different perspective, any recommendations?
Where can I get training for this type of job?
Teach us step by step pls thank

nice video !! hopefully i wish i can extend my AV career on canada .
I’m just about to start out being a full-time production technician and I’m extremely excited for it! What you described sounds exactly like what the local company does, and I’ll definitely be the youngest guy on the team, but I’m approaching it open minded and super eager to get to know the 11 other staff members. I’m glad I put my professional music experience on my resume, it certainly helps as a sound engineer getting to know both sides of the microphone and having a refined ear for musical elements.
@Kettner Creative:
What suggestions or advice would you give someone who is interested in just setting up things at a place of employment and school?
Also, do you know anything about the home theater installation occupation?
I have a music technology major that’s an audio engineer. I’m I qualify to be an AV Tech?
how do you learn how to eq a room so mics don’t feedback and how do you learn how to use digital consoles if you don’t have one?
Can you offer me a job?
Best one so far. Thanks
What is your company like with bump in and bump outs for hotels/venues?!

I love ava cuz you literally get to enjoy the moment of joy when you realise you get to make a lot of people happy with the music and event which you have set up and coordinated
I think i may have found my true calling. Is there a chance you guys have positions in Edmonton?
Am Charles from Nigeria have always loved to be an AV tech, and want to start a career as an AV Tech
awesome video. Definitely the info I needed to know.
Forgot to mention the heavy labor part… stages and risers and lighting truss, furniture moving all AV headaches..
Thank you for such an in depth knowledge sharing.
Put me on!! I’ll do it for free for a week
i’m starting out in this field with only a few years of experience but I’ve really learned a ton in that short time. My specific dream job is to help with the production for major wrestling companies. these employers that turned my resume down don’t know what tf they are missing out on.
This is on my course selection for classes next year to take in high school.
I’m 19, and I’m trying to figure out a career with something in the lines of this but much more diverse. I would love to create high tech home theaters, amazing visuals and audio experiences. Speakers have always intrigued me, same with displays and immersion. And no, i don’t want to be the guy who just puts the pieces together, i want to know the art. I want to be the guy that can recommend brand for specific needs for audios and visuals, even down to the things you watch and listen to most. I can option materials for room shapes for sound proofing and display+speaker placements for the ultimate experience. Lastly, understanding the communications between the audio and visuals to include lighting + other integrations. In more simple terms, i just want to be the thought and creator of it all, maybe with a team. Any tips?
How can I send yall my resume? Been in AV for 12 years. Let me know!
Thanks for the great intro video! can you suggest some schools, preferably onine courses in Canada?
Really good video! Thank you
Yes it’s very important for all learners
I’m 19, i have an experienced on being a AV Technician for about 2 years in our school events. I just want to explore more about it. Thanks for the information you’ve shared.
Thank. I enjoy your lecture
But I have some questions
1. I want to know more about AV and setting up the equipment, placement of speakers that will not give feedbacks?
2. Connect from laptop, PC, to projector and give sound?
I just applied to a video technician job I hope I’m not in over my head
Hello, I need to hire an AV technician, I need a couple technical questions and answers to ask them, please can you help?
