I finally decided on bad boy rebel, now I need to choose what engine is best for me. Do you have any opinions? there are a few engine options for the rebel with the 61" deck. The Kawasaki fx850 with 27hp, the Kawasaki evo 820 efi 34hp , and the Kawasaki FX1000 35hp. Im mowing a lot of acreage in the tennessee hills. Thanks!

He is Lying! No way they will last 15-20 years! 1500 to 2000 hrs on everyone of those you will need a new engine.
None of them compare to Kubota ZD1211.
Kubota is way way way better than any of those.
Kubota ZD1211 diesel engine is rated for 6,000 hours.
Way more powerful and reliable. You think those are heavy duty? Look at the Kubota ZD1211. Only 18k too!

Please the John Deere is a joke , Bad Boy so why not the Spartan line come on Man, Toro over the Spartan they clearly trickle down from Spartan to Toro and Wright is left out really
I think the sheen of the green has faded considerably over the past several years. If I were to do a lineup like this, I’d ditch JD and Toro and add Kubota and Gravely. Interesting video, though!

John deer is so over priced. You also need to know that it’s not gonna last as long. This is not on my best list. Ferris is number 2 on my list. Scag is number 1. Bad Boy is number 4 and I could be prejudice my cousin started Bad Boy. He has since sold it with his partners. I think Bad Boys has the best price point. Wright is number 3. ExMark is 5, Hustler 6, and Gravely 7 and Toro 8.

I thought the Deere cut the smoothest vs the Scag and Exmark in thick perfect grass. Left no skips between the blades and i thought it blew the grass out better and further with the shoot up

I have The little bit older seven year old bad boy outlaw XP. As a fuel injected 38 horse Briggs another today when I got off of it this morning it has 3817 hours on yep almost 4 grand. Been basically trouble free other than when it was near it needed a right hand drive wheel motor. That Rouge replaced it is not very appealing looking with that weird looking gas tank etc.
I am more than likely gonna replace that one this winter probably the last few days of December when I can make a real good deal with a new Bad boy 40hp Briggs. You couldn’t give me one of those Kawasaki’s way to may issues.
