In this video I test and review the new Jackery 1000 v2 solar generator. The Jackery 1000 v2 portable power station has 1070wh of capacity with a 1500w inverter that can handle 3000w of surge. The Jackery 1000 v2 is smaller, more powerful and faster at charging then the previous Jackery 1000 power station. I think the Jackery 1000 v2 is one of the best portable power stations you can get and actually carry around that is able to power almost all devices.

  1. I just borrowed my brother’s 1000 V2 and I was impressed that it handled my CPAP machine for 7 hours and only lost 38% charge.
Now that I seen this video at what else it can handle, I might have to get my own for making meals while camping.

  2. I don’t know if you said it or if you can tell…how long does power last? Say if I only used it to run my laptop? Thanks.

  3. Thank you for actually telling me how to plug it into the panel 😭 I looked for two hours just to be safe

  4. Great review! Thorough with real life situations of using the device. Ordered mine yesterday and can’t wait for it to arrive.

  5. Okay this is by far the BEST video I’ve seen in a very long time! Saw this on sale on Amazon today for $448 and I needed some real world tests and knowledge to show my wife how we can use this for camping and at home if needed. Excellent and amazing video and event the details you showed us! Thank you

  6. Dude, awesome video. Thank you so much for posting. I’m buying it. Ironically enough, I’m operating on a baby USB power brick because I lost power about 15 minutes ago.

  7. What if that fridge is plugged in and I want to boil water and charge my tablet will it be able to do that all at once?

  8. Wow dude, really good review. Loved how indepth you got with everything. I’m quite impressed, thinking I’m gonna get one now.

  9. I got this plus the 200w solar panels for $600 about a year ago. Best purchase Ive ever made. We use it while camping to make coffee and run my 12v cooler, and to charge my flashlights. I’m thinking about getting another one as it is on sale now for $450. Killer deal!

  10. Very informative real-world video, thank you. I am learning as I go. I have purchased the Jackery 500, 2000, and 3000 Home in the past six months. I got the 3000 during Prime Days in June 2025. I could not pass up such a good deal. It was worth checking both the Amazon and Jackery websites during Prime Days. I purchased the Jackery 3000, along with 2 200W solar panels, for substantially less than what I paid for the 2000, plus the additional warranty extension. We have become so dependent on electricity for our creature comforts. Having experienced an extended power outage and damage from tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in 2008, I wish this sort of technology had been available at the time. Now I have a better plan; I no longer need to drag out my generator and hook up the spider web of extension cords at night. I can power my essentials, keep the lights on until morning, watch satellite TV to keep me occupied, and go to bed with a fan, A/C, and my ADT system armed. In the event of another extended power outage, to conserve fuel, I will run my generator for two hours in the morning and evening to power everything, recharge the power banks, or use 500W of solar on mostly sunny days. It is not wise to run your generator at night unattended for several reasons. I cannot speak for anyone, but I struggle to sleep when the outside temperature is 102Β°F with high humidity, and the indoor temperature is 89Β°F. In 2008, I neglected to think about a small 5,000 BTU A/C for a small bedroom to sleep at night. The 3,000-watt unit will power a small window unit for roughly eight hours, and not be heard a mile away at night in the country.

  11. Thank you! We can’t let the solar panel charge the power station. No input showing. And only your video showed us how! Thanks!!!!

  12. I’ve just ordered me one of the jackery just like that, I saw where one guy has a warranty problem where jackery will not Honor the warranty now that’s a problem. That’s giving this company a bad name. Thanks for video it help me when I start mine up.

  13. Looking to learn and go totally off grid mostly need old solar panels and battery. Want to help my brother to never pay for electric. Thanks. I have an old 600 watt inverter and want to upgrade mines and build one charging station for my brother and all those homeless guys on the beach

  14. 1x(7/16/25)…done thank you. Excellent. They do make 200 watt & 250 watt 120volt A/C heaters. I use 5 of those instead of 1500 watt heater. It spreads the heat more evenly with the same wattage

  16. I need to see how long I can keep an electric blanket running. Thinking that would be less power than running a space heater.
