The Dark Truth About Luxury Brands 💵🤯

Nikhil Kamath sheds light on the intricate world of big brands and their crafty strategies. Over the last few years, he’s consciously distanced himself from the allure of luxury shopping,

Raj Shamani reveals the core of this manipulation: it’s not about selling to those who have money but rather targeting those who don’t. It’s about portraying an ideal image of who you could become, subtly convincing you that their product defines a certain kind of person.

But here’s a message – the importance of supporting homegrown Indian brands. By choosing products from local brands, we not only celebrate authenticity but also contribute to our nation’s growth and success.

  1. I worked in luxury stores for a few years. They absolutely are playing you. They’re marketing to those who can just barely (or just barely not afford) and who don’t understand real quality and will pay for the status. That being said there are luxury brands that are less known but put an emphasis or using real quality materials and usually made by skillful artisan that are actually worth their price.

  2. Well, yeah…. Half of luxury goods are purchased by the poors. It’s all image. It’s not 1,000x better quality. It doesn’t make your dick grow half a foot.

  3. They don’t play you, they have set standards in the market, luxury brands born especially in Italy or France have an exclusive history and timelessness which sets them apart from the other brands. You need to understand why they don’t want to sell anyone and everyone who wants to buy them. That’s what most people don’t understand, just because you’re a billionaire you cannot enter the store and pick whatever you like, you need to understand the brand first.

  4. Yup I always knew this but I realized it accurately when I saw a parked Rolls Royce and wondered it can be built within less than 50lacks and if I’m wrong then I bet it’s more cheaper to build 😅 I’m I right?

  5. When it comes to capitalism these free enterprises tactics are going to be a part of it , I never expected him to make that statement, he should figure out how easily he bacame so rich, does he deserve? He is a part of capitalism, today USA is the the richest country in the world, because of their spending nature .they don’t have value for money. The marketing is so powerful that they are addicted to shopping and the demand is always there for everything and the world is depending on America to export their best products. Person who understands economics will not make that kiddish statement, the most important principle of capitalism is to make people spend money on something they don’t need by using some celebrities as a ambassador and through marketing and advertising that product to circulate more money into the economy. 🙏🏿😅

  6. Indians are ruled or companies ideology ruled india.

When they enter MNC like google, microsoft in india .

Indian debt last 2007 only 60 trillions dollar,
Upto 2014 only 70 trillions. 60 years of independence..

MNC boom market in INDIA, indian debt 150 trillions, 2014-2023 last 10 years reaced 80 trillions..

But indian economy finance, 30. Trillion market..

MNC company better ideology than Indians.
Others how india becom Debt every year..

  7. simple..you guys are not their target market 😊

so dont influence people to hate a luxury brand

some people value things differently..you have your own perception of “expensive” things..

  8. I agree with those luxury brands for bags and shoes .. but cars definitely it makes a huge difference.. we will understand when we sit in the vehicle for a long drive..

  9. Imagine being SO rich that you have the choice to buy almost any luxury brand but you still choose not to buy them. 😮

  10. Jhata I love Mercedes eqs for its luxury and tech where roll royce has luxury and adas but it is not tech too much like classic feel which is good for someone.

  11. The dark truth about English 😂 language if someone speak English some idiots think they have more knowledge and have a good education.

  12. All those items are readily available for purchase in their stores if you have money to actually do so but of course you’ll be happier buying chappati and buttered chicken instead.

  13. And stop buying from famous celebrities/ athletes etc who already are filthy rich, Multimillionaires and even billionaires. Purchase from new brands that may not be known but might even better than expensive brands. Give hard working entrepreneurs that come from the bottom a chance. Celebrities, athletes, popular social media influencers, all those who already made their millions or billions do not need our $ like those trying to make it.

  14. 1.Luxury for middle class not for millionaire or billionaire 😂
    2. you stop buying because you can’t afford this things for long time 😂
    3. Apni aukhat mai lo sab thik h sasta ho ya mehnga ho
    4. because Aukhaat maaadaarchoodh aukhaat 👀🐴

  15. Now he is probably doing the same on this vid with this type of content.
    To look good among masses.
Bloody hell, it’s propaganda to the core.

  16. They play on brand value..but in india we will make sure we will break that😂😂..like we did with KTM chapris riding that bike , then Iphones 😂😂

  17. Mostly truth but depends on the brand a lot of the time you get what you pay for… a Lexus is more expensive than a Toyota for a reason… plastic is cheaper than leather etc…
