  1. So how do i hookup a 20 band equalizer without using tape deck etc .. all RCA ports say "tape in ,tape out, Rec" etc it was simple hooking my Yamaha EQ into my 200 watt Insignia receiver and thru the tv ,cd Roku but i cant get the record player to work with it. I have a new PYLE 300 watt i want an EQ for to drive my yamaha monitors and 2 more speakers. Nothing fancy just for my garage system ..

  2. Now I’m really gonna blow your mind. What about an integrated amp versus a dedicated power amp and separate preamp? I actually run monobloc power amps to my left and right speakers with a separate preamp. But of course this is high-end audio file stuff for two channel audio.

  3. I rarely saw an amplif without volume, treble, bass control – these are high end amplif with a preamp. The video is not ok. An only audio amp is made with a higher quality overall

  4. almost correct an AV receiver can also be a stereo but a stereo receiver cannot be an AV producer also most people that have a decent AV receiver can benefit from having an external amplifier myself I’m using a Marantz cinema 50 with a Marantz MM7055 so a lot of what was stated in here was kind of a little sideways almost correct but not completely and might cause some confusion I can also play Semeraro Trump #sound stereo which is an expanded stereo that plays on all of my speakers but just a left right channel I think a little more research needs to be done and maybe redo this video but I did subscribe keep making videos

  5. I use my receiver for everything…music and movies and it sounds just fine.I have heard a $150 000 stereo system (Wadia and audio research and Adcom and inifinity kappa) and it blew me away, but my unit is fine for what i need!

  6. Mind blown… hahahaha. The fact that it’s called a receiver is because it has a radio receiver built in πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  7. What you explained is the difference between Power Amplifier and Integrated Amplifier.πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  8. Thanks. This helps. Next question is how many receivers do I need. I bought a house with built in ceiling speakers in multiple rooms. The upstairs has a station with input wires and so does the downstairs. Do I get two separate units and link them somehow or is there a master/slave setup? Or am I limited to 2 coexisting systems?

  9. why is it so hard to find 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms reading they say like 220 watts a 6 ohms orr 100 watts times 1 channel 70 times 2 at 2 channel all these confusing ways to deceive your output

  10. Wow it sounds πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰. Very clear! Thank you so much πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰. I’m really happy about sharpening my knowledge on the difference of amplifiers. I have Denon A/V receiver and B&W 604 Home Cinema Package. I’m very proud of it. Cheers πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰.

  11. A receiver has and amplifier, preamplifier, and tuner in it. These can be combined as a preamp-tuner, or an integrated preamp power amp.

  12. I definitely learned something and I definitely subscribed so anyways can anybody tell me if I can run a stereo receiver and amplifier and plug it into my audio video receiver or is that dumb for me to do that

  13. My PS5 is connected directly to TV in HDMI 1 and my AV receiver is also directly connected to TV HDMI 2
I wanna know if that’s wrong cuz it all works and sound perfectly.

  14. I can build complex computers from scratch. I cannot turn on a radio or connect 2 speakers to anything but a slip knot. Must be a genetic thing…..THANKS JONAH for keepin’ it simple for us stupids… πŸ™‚

  15. i’m still use old stereo integrated amplifier because it much easy to repair compare to avr. sony integrated amplifier… 1991 till now..😁

  16. What if i run video from bluray player to tv and audio to sterio receiver or is there a benifit to running both av through av receiver???

  17. still i have a question, what about not integrated amplifiers? just bought a dual mono amp, and pluged my dac direct on it, sounded terrible lol. some says that a preamp is needed to make it sound good, even if it has plenty of power rightway, dont know much about it, maybe someone can explain it better for us, thanks

  18. My only question here is what is the benefit of running an Xbox or pc through an av receiver rather than straight to the tv or monitor?

  19. Can you connect an amplifier to your home AV receiver for extra power? Or is that not how things work

  20. For two channel stereo listening, would a 100 watt receiver produce the same power and sound quality as a 100 watt integrated amp?

  21. Bought a Denon 3800 over Thanksgiving and love it. Both theatre (5.1.2) and stereo sound terrific.

  22. The only real difference between an Amp and a receiver- is the one that you forgot to mention… a receiver has a tuner built in. Plus how many amplifiers – unless you’re talking about industrial amps for instruments etc have you seen that say gain and not volume on them? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I mean, literally- what the hell? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ 98% of all Hifi amplifiers say Volume on them not gain… πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  23. Would you count a device that takes several audio inputs from different sources, and outputs them to speakers, without any processing, 1:1 as still only amplifier or as receiver?

I do posses such a device, it has 8 separate stereo inputs and output for stereo speakers, and it has only power button, capacitive source selector, and, very helpfully unlabelled "volume" or "gain" knob.

  24. So connect all audio and video sources direct to the av amp … then run a SINGLE hdmi out (arc) from amp to my projectors hdmi input and that will give me both the video for all sources to view through the projector and also the sound for all video through the amp . Correct ?

  25. Its called an "Integrated Amplifier" not an "Amplifier" or "Power Amp", those are straight power and still require a pre-amp….peace.

  26. I am from Fort Worth, Texas, I am totally blind. I have no vision whatsoever, I lost my site seven years ago. But I have a surroundsound system with the receiver that has no Bluetooth capability or no aux cord plug outlet. So my question is I love the system. It’s an amazing system but I cannot use it currently the way it is right now, so what I am asking is is there a way I can use this or an adapter or some type so I can use this for Bluetooth or is there a way I can hook up an aux cord because I am trying to use my Alexa with it and if I can use my Alexa with it, I will be able to use voice commands. Hope you can help me and God bless. Thank you.

  27. Please I have a Yamaha R-N303 stereo receiver. How can I connect it to my Yamaha YAS-207 soundbar to serve as a speaker instead of connecting speakers to the receiver. Thanks

  28. Good video but you didn’t actually answer the question of why to choose an Audio/Video receiver vs a stereo amp. You just said ‘2if you listen to musik go for stereo amp and if you watch movies and listen to musik go for the other one…" Well, why not go for the Audio/Video receiver at once? Because if they cost the same the manufacturer will have to spend the same amount of money on a lot more components on a Audio/Video receiver than on the stereo. So, if you only listen to music go for the stereo amp because the manufacturer has put a lot more money on every and each component – therefore a better product for the som price. Soundwise. I beleive that should be the answer.
