While this definitely calls into question brand image, you also have to factor in other things like product life, warranty, and service. Not to say that the cheaper stuff will definitely break down earlier.

You are miisunderstanding the concept, most of the parts are produced in the same factories making the originals, similar how Ikea sells rechargable AA batteries from the same factory panasonic uses but sells them at 1/3 of the price (same battery)

For the phone battery life, the fact that the real one was not connected to the network (you can see it when the remaining battery life is shown) and the other was not, this has a huge impact on battery drain. Not saying the fake is better though.
As for the fake Dyson, I wonder if the battery life is good or if it would die in 1 or 2 years (probably).

I want to point it out, because I have the vatech vacuum. Yes, it is better… for about 15 uses. It starts to just give up, and if you want it to last longer, you have to basically give the entire thing a massive deep clean.
I clicked to see fake vs real iPhone 17 pros and there was that just Samsung witch I was not interested in 😢

The fake Dyson fan…just get 2 of them, you can get better air circulation and ok air filtration. But that fake vacuum is great. The Govee is what happens when Chinese companies get into the game. They will make it almost the same but will give you more bells and whistles and then charge you less than the original.

Comparing name-brand tech to "imitation" or "fake" tech is obviously going to be hit-or-miss across the board, but I’m thoroughly impressed and shocked that SOME of these cheaper options are overall better. Who knew.

I love Govee’s products. I got two sets of their lights in my bedroom and in the evening its the only lights I have turned on for a nice low light, blue/pink atmosphere. I wouldn’t say they last a while though as one set has stopped working on certain colour settings or one colour wont show up at all.
The only thing is, some of the more expensive ones tend to have more longevity. It’s hard to say some of the fakes wouldn’t give out in a year. So can we get an update in a couple years? 🙂
