How does the bigscreen compare to the pimax?
The quest just has more to offer, the BSB2 looks amazing and is DEFINITELY the future of VR for sure but until they add something to make that steep price point make more sense I just don’t see it being worth it over the quest when all you get in the BSB2 box is the headset and that’s it. That purchase only makes sense to people who already have the controllers and lighthouses from another headset they bought.

I love vr because it makes feel games in an immersive and fun way, I’ve only gotten to play vr a few times, my uncle has one so when I visit him I get to play on it. One of my favorite attractions at and arcade is vr. And it would be amazing to be able to play with my cousin, uncle, and friends, I’ve never tried vr with friends but it seems fun.
No idea why anyone would want to play those Quest 3 games. Look terrible. Like they belong in 1995. Ugh.

I appreciate the video, but you’re comparing apples to oranges here. They are two very different headsets for completely different types of people. One needs a bunch of peripherals and wires, the other doesn’t. One uses your PC, the other doesn’t. One is WAY more expensive and proprietary (foam face). One can be shared with friends, the other can’t. Not sure why you thought these two are competing with each other. This is a "rich people" vs "poor people" video. The Bigscreen is obviously better just from the displays, but the price differences for everything you need is insane.
To summarize BSB2 has no standalone games library, no controllers, no controller tracking hardware, no hand recognition, no built in speakers, no mixed reality, no pass through, no wireless PC connectivity and costs $1000+, just WOW! Q3 has all off the above including the pancake lens and costs $500, it’s a no-brainer 😂😜
Meta is milking the heck out of tech they can do better than a system every year your just as bad as the lap top scammers is it hard to make one good one and upgrade some of the features instead perching another machine Big Screen has better graphics just cost too much da_ money. AH

As I never have issues with VR headsets, and maybe because I get older I notice I started to have a bad spots on my face that don’t disappear so I decided to I sell my Quest 3 and bought PSVR2 same thing and this is not because Hygiene issue because I clean my headset regulary but my skin not work well when kept under heat and sweat environment so this issue make my vr time quite limited worried I will ruin my face because of Vr. Making Vr, smaller should help so interested how making VR smaller like a pair of glasses will look like in the future.

Coming from a Reverb G2 Ive been totally surprised by how much I like the Q3. At first I was mad that Microshaft turned the G2 onto a pile of plastic junk over night. I thought the Q3 was going to be a sideways upgrade but it has been far beyond my wildest expectations. The lenses are so far beyond the Fresnel lenses of the G2 that it is kinda shocking. If someone would have told me wireless pcvr was better than wired I would have also laughed at you, but with Virtual Desktop and its magic XR on a Q3 it is much better than Link. Higher res would have been nice along with a version with eye tracking but other than that no complaints.
Indeed, different uses cases – uncompromised PCVR with basestation and eyetracking vs versatility with insideout/out and nightmare privacy, nice to have both though record sales of BSB2 suggest the market is starving ^^;;

I’ll justify the huge price gap by the biggest drawl back to the Quest 3, owning anything associated with facebook META. The simple fact that your brain is not being secretly assimilated by Zucker-Borg to become part of the collective is the biggest win there is for the BS2.
Every time I watch a video on a new headset I say wait for Quest 4 and this time is no different. You’re gonna tell me having much less hardware, no controllers, no tracking, not wireless, not standalone, and no built in processor costs 2 times more than a Quest? Gtfoh.

I’m not a gamer but I want it for work I want to use it for 1 purposes only, and that is to monitor my 3D scan 😩 I’m just soo tired to have to get a phone or laptop to monitor my 3D scan I want something that I can move freely and see what I’m scanning!
