Call me weird but i play more on my quest 3 than on my ps5.. i actually sold my ps5 to buy the accessories for the quest 3. I just enjoy the workout aspect of it so much.

The problem is that we dont want new vr games we want all the old good games in vr like skyrim and fallout thats what we want imagine call of duty in vr or mass effect on vr or bioshock or alien isolation dead space or calisto protocol and its not that hard or expensive there wouldnt be mods if it was
The 3s is the better option for quest 2 users if you dont wanna spend $500 its a no brainer to skip the quest 3 and go for the budget friendly version that won’t nuke your wallet into orbit and from my experience it has 10 times better battery life cause your not driving those high resloution panles and and still have similar specs
Im still on the quest 1 ( Im not able to buy anything new rn) and Im really sad that they dont Support there first kid anymore
The meta quest 4 is not around the corner in fact it’s not coming out for another few years I’d highly recommend the meta quest 3 just for the lenses and massive memory life it’s a massive game changer because I didn’t like the lenses in the quest 2 or 3s

pluse they need to find away price next q4 right if they want to win in vr ar space it like saying ps5 disc for 500 or a vr ar headset for 500 also if the future is no traditional display but display in a headset to do vr and ar than meta need to get people on board with right pricing and good tech, but not too expensive meta is kind of king of vr and ar but to be full king they need to win right
yes it not completely failure but is doing down a bit because there no sale on meta quest 3 and if there is it not big problem is meta need to put sale on q3 and price it like q2 or a different discount to get people on board
Firmware OS is killing Quest 3 PCVR for me imo… from v76 breaking link cable to it’s corruption of PCVR audio and mic delay, it’s truly the only thing holding it back for me
I own the quest 3 and it’s been my main console I’ve been love playing contractor showdown exfil zone plus it has battle royal mode super fun as well. Plus the exclusive games on there is been awesome. Changed the gaming experience for me and I can’t wait for forefront it’s gonna be awesome on vr

I remember the Echo Arena shutting down. Loved the game so much, didn’t matter how motion sick I got lol. I still have the game on my board in case it ever comes back :,)
Why wouldn’t it be? Library of games is expanding, tech is great. There is no good reason not to buy it.
Vr gaming just hasn’t been affordable for people to get into and that alone is why you don’t see the market grow and some games are too big to fit on one device of vr head set because the small amount of storage

7:53- What do you mean “stay in the race”?!? Have you SEEN the insane price for the Apple one??? Yeah, they may both be “a VR headset”!?! But for OVER $3,000 for their headset, whatever direction Apple is running, I want Meta to run the opposite direction!!!
Even IF the Apple headset was “perfect” (which I have never heard a single “sane” person say! Not even the people that only got it for free to promote it) in EVERY SINGLE WAY, it STILL would not be worth $3k! And that price tag alone puts the Apple one at the bottom of all lists!!!

I am currently looking to buy a Quest 3 from Facebook Marketplace. I am coming from a Quest 1, and I want to experience the new style of lenses. Theres also all the other benefits like vastly increased performance, audio/mic quality, and passthough/MR functionality.

Bottom line Quest anything sucks… nothing like strapping a lithium battery to your head.. and forced to link an account like it used to be in 2022 where you were forced to link a facebook account.. and if for ANY reason you had lost your facebook account.. you would lose EVERYTHING YOU PAID FOR through the oculus store and now you are forced to use a Meta account with all your personal information floating around on a cloud which has access to your personal information … NO THANK YOU.. keep your Meta crap
2026 and maybe even 2027 isn’t really right around the corner in my book. It won’t be in 2025 so folks are looking at probably a minimum of 1 year and potentially up to a bit over 2 years if they do a holidays release in 2027. My problem with waiting is there is no official word on a timeframe and I’d rather not be waiting an unknown amount of time to replace my Quest 2.
Should I upgrade from a Q2 to a Q3 or do I wait….? I don’t know if it’s worth it yet

Q3 wasn’t enough of a jump in tech over my Q2, I was waiting for next Gen. The industry needs to stream games ie Ready Player One and have major titles you can play 1st person as some moders have shown. You don’t need all the processing on the headset, just hi rez ability to stream and play top titles, you reduce cost of the headset.
Quest 4 isn’t coming any time soon. 🤔

The Q3 used to be reliable, but it seems that they screwed it up with the updates. 😢
It’s the worst hardware and software experience I’ve ever had. A total cr@p, unintuitive, often not working, crashing, heavy, terrible battery life and graphics from the late ‘90s. Even as pcvr is a poor choice since pcvr is a disaster too.
I have a quest 3 and psvr2 and I mostly play on the psvr2. Since they have high quality triple A games like hitman, resident evil 4 remake, horizon , gran turismo, and no man’s sky.
I don’t have a single vr I’m sad I wish I had one 😢😢😢😢😢

Not a week goes by where something on my quest three does not work as it should. I’ve already had to return the headset and one of the controllers. Now, I’m having to replace the other controller.
Customer Service works with me, but I shouldn’t have to do this as often as I do. Technology this expensive should work as intended .
12:18- Yeah…….. I didn’t hear anything about the “Quest 4”…….!?! But I’m also not 1 of those “hardcore gamers” anymore!!! Those days have been gone for awhile! Ever since these “big named gaming companies” started to hire certain “outside companies” that are all about pushing an agenda!!!
I still have the 1st headset and I still use the 2nd one as well (but I bought both of those BEFORE the change the name of it)!?! And I have not been able to afford the new one until now (well, in less than another week)!?! But if the 4th one is supposed to come out next year, it would almost be stupid to but the 3rd one now!?! And besides maybe 4 or 5 games, the rest of the games I want to get as well are available on the 2!!!
