  1. Looking to charge an eBike. 800 watt hour battery, whilst also powering a cool box fridge and charging a couple of phones. Probably looking at something with a 1.5-2kwh unit but not sure how many watts I’ll need. Looking into it but if anyone knows or has experience that’d be very much appreciated!

  2. You deserve the medal of honor award from Lord AND Savior Trump! I owe you my life for this video

  3. Always go with life po4. Always go with one that charges in an hour. Bonus for fast solar charging if you need that ability. This is based on my experience of starting out with smaller wh power stations (which are awesome for charging my phone, my dc food warmer, recharging fan batteries, and small stuff) If you want to use a strong fan in an outage that will keep you cool or while camping or an electric blanket and last all night go with at least 1500wh w/ fast charging and a 1 gal gas sipping generator.

  4. A good review of real world power needs of common items, and real world power provided but the batteries, thanks!

  5. I need something to get me through the night. I need a solar generator that will power a box fan on high all night long. Then I will switch to my Honda EU2200i generator to run my window AC unit and refrigerator, while charging several cell phones.
    Hurricane season is a bitch!

  6. Thanks for the safety info. As a chemist living in a condo, living in a country that seems to want to burn down every summer, I think about these things; I appreciate it being part of the review.

  7. Hi hello, good day
We are trying to go camping; I’m suggesting the group the vtoman jump 1800
We are going to be running
12" Round Ceramic Skillet, Black, Nonstick, 120v 1200W, Removable Temperature Control
1 coffee pot of 1500 watta of power
    And charging 2 iphones
    Thank you!! In advance!!
    Happy blessings only!!

  8. Watt meter! Brilliant tool that no one else mentioned. That helps me get started… Thanks.

  9. Great video! Just wanna quickly correct some of you maths, when converting from usable power to theoretical power, assuming usable is 80% of theoretical, you going to want to divide by 0.8, not multiply by 1.2.

Difference is when you multiply by 1.2 you add 20% of the usable power divide by 0.8 and you add 20 of the theoretical. In this case it’s a difference of about 100 wh.

  10. may you try cherge them from public electrical car charging station, through adapter j1772 to nema they sell on ebay, aliexpress, amazon. i tried anker solox c1000 not working. probably on my channel one short video exist. interesting other brands will be works fine or not.

  11. "this one is best for truck drivers. this one is best for campers/tents, and this one is best for van life. this one is great you want one for home that you can also travel with"

just do a best one for each category

  12. In looking through your video’s it looks like you haven’t done a test of evergear group of solar generator up here they are sold by Princess auto I bought the 2000 watts power output one their sales flyer didn’t tell much about it other than the AC was 120 volts 2000 watts pure sine wave calling didn’t help the battery was 3 volts lithium couldn’t tell me I’f the battery was included or not but they had a battery for it Ć lso on sale so I bought it too since then I’ve found out that the battery is a 48 volt system it has all the things I needed since the sale started on a Tuesday I phoned their call center and ordered it had my sister pick it up and bring it home after work on Thursday good thing I did our house is poorly insulated and the temperature outside was minuse 30below and we were informed that there was a planed power outage that Friday from 8am till noon so when my sister got home I immediately checked the status of the and nothing happened called to find out what the problem was plugged it in still nothing on the screen since they new nothing I thought I had a dud then I thought since a lot of lithium batteries have switches on them and opened the lid and it did turned it on and found out the battery was at 60%and it wasn’t charging Friday morning first thing I did was plug it the microwave and heat up some breakfast then I plugged the furnace into the power box and got a pleasant surprise I was shocked at the power draw of the furnace started up at 300watts settling down in at 280 watts found out that I could run the whole house on it and learned that it had a ups mode so but I’d like to know I’f it’s any good how pure is the sine wave is

  13. This is a very helpful video with valuable content. I’ll add my 2 cents from a position of camping for astronomy and astroimaging. For one thing I am always turned off by the idea of having multiple AC outlets on a power box. Nobody that I know of needs to have multiple AC devices connected to a power source when camping. Furthermore, the power pulled is additive, which means when you see a bunch of people simultaneously charging their devices AND running a couple of AC loads, the delivered power is reduced. Not needing belts and whistles, and wanting more reliable power system, I finally just bought a 100Ah LiFePo battery, a DC-DC charger, a solar charger and I can use the battery in my vehicle to power an electric cooler while the battery is being charged by the car’s alternator while driving, and then I can taken the cooler and battery out to my tent area and have the battery charged with solar power if needed at all. With these devices you are buying a lot of eye candy that you really don’t need.

  14. Very clear info. I’m just starting looking into alternative power for the more and more frequent power outages we have. Something to keep my fridge freezer running and a fan/heater depending on weather. Split unit a/c would be an added bonus. šŸ˜‚ I pretty much go to bed wake up with the sun so lights aren’t a priority. For winter to get the pellet stove running would be great. Plus in my country electric is much cheaper during the night from 11 pm till 7 am. If I could charge then and use that electric during the day perhaps it would pay for itself. Just throwing around these thoughts and trying to stay ahead of any disasters in the future. Thank you.

  15. So if I’m understanding correctly, I would have to purchase a unit that has 2300 watt capacity to run a 5000 BTU portable AC unit? And a 3000 watt capacity if I wanted to also power my full size refrigerator and a TV no larger than 65ā€? I live in the desert and want to be able to power my refrigerator for a full day, power my TM wifi router, and most importantly, run a 5000-6000 BTU portable AC unit in the event of a blackout.

  16. You are the first video to make me really laugh and not my head hurt! You are correct! I am looking for ā€œreal-lifeā€ scenerios (not just comfort) …. Living in FL 20 min from the coast with hurricanes coming and my 85 year old mom with me. It is time to get prepared!!

  17. Even more confused now. Will need to do more homework before revisiting this . What’s the story with inverters. You talk about wh amps volts and then casually throw in about inverters. Not sure where they fit in .
I think I’ll just have to abandon anything that needs power in my life when in my campervan

  18. I have no idea about most of this. I would need cheap, reliable and the ability to run several devices like a fan, a few lights, and small stuff. I want something I could add on to when the money is right. Directions, please, as I don’t have a clue:)

  19. I also did some tests regarding a 12v fridge. And my measurements were a runtime of around 4 hours at 95-100°F temperature with 80Wh. So it’s pretty much spot on with your measurements. But at night my fridge ran like 9h because of the colder temperatures. So if you’re not in the desert, the average consumption was around 15W.

  20. Find one that charges fast if using something like a gas sipping when 2350!generator (charge 1548 watts in an hour ) Find one that works in cold weather like the VTOMAN. If using solar the eco flow delta charges in like 3 hours. I have two 300 wh I use all the time at home to charge my cell phone. The bigger for camping. I went with at least 1500 watts so that I can plug any standard plug into it. 1548 watt hours so I can run an industrial fan all day. I have a small power station for my fridge which has a battery in it and it runs 40 w when compressor is on and like 4 watts when it isn’t. I just use fridge battery while charging small power station. With this set up I solar charge a small one while using the other small one on fridge then exchange them the next day. I use the big one for either industrial fan or electric blanket. Now I’m addicted so I’ll be buying more soon lol

  21. If you didn’t talk going 900 miles an hour I might’ve been able to pick up on what you are saying way better-It was SO ANNOYING the speed of your voice!!Holy crap

  22. Trying to justify the price when we experience an unplanned utility outage for perhaps 50-60 hours per year, or two outages that last a day or two each. I can get a decent hotel room for $150/night and roll the dice on the refrigerator and freezer holding temp for outage duration. Worst case, throw away a few hundred dollars worth of food. If I buy a half to 1mW size unit and if I add the solar panels, I can recharge during daylight and still keep the fridge/freezer at a safe food temp overnight. Alternately, I can bring this big ass battery to the hotel, charge it with hotel paid 120v, and plug in the fridge during the day.

  23. what would an electric water heater require? Can a solar system be setup to switch on automatically? Your opinion of Zendure?

  24. Great video, thank you for the unbiased content, there’s way too many shills on YouTube these days and I really appreciate genuine content like this! Subscribed! šŸŽ‰

  25. Thanks for this amazing, informative explanation (although some parts were hard to understand and made my brain boilšŸ˜‚)this is probably the best i’v ever seen šŸ…šŸ‘And after all – i’m happy about buying a Bluetti instead Jackery…😊

  26. So which one should I buy to use if we get invaded by some foreign country and need to travel and charge 2 phones, something that charges phones fast and recharges itself fast?? Please help someone šŸ™šŸ½

  27. Hi, what is the best practice for charging these units?

With cell phones etc. we are told it’s best to keep the battery as close to 50% as possible for maximum battery life. Does the same hold true with these power stations?

Also do they tell you what their battery percentage is?

  28. ace video thank you, I need to find out what one I should purchase for my JBL party box for beach days. I currently have a JBL 310 which has aprox 4hrs battery life however would like to extend to at least the 10hrs. PLS HELP . Thank you

  29. I have both jackery types 1000 each. Use for a lot of things. In a black out. Running our power station up and down stairs isn’t great. So having 2 helps. We also use them in our rv. I also have jackery 100 plus. Love these.

  30. EcoFlow for me. Less expensive for what you get , very wide availability of charging options, great low price , great quality , stacking several together for more power is probably the best , lots of outputs for power versatility.
