*CORRECTION: I made the mistake of circling the wire terminals and called them the “keyhole mounts” on both the satellite and center speakers. D’OH! My bad. The keyhole mount holes are actually in the exact spot as the ¼ ” threaded insert. Sorry for any confusion!

I will return a Denon X1800h and get a Onkyo NR7100. For my L/R I have Polk ES20. Just got those for my surround, center and elevation plus sub for $175 so when I recover I will then upgrade those 😁😁

Is this better than the Monoprice HT-35 Premium 5.1-Channel Home Theater System? Using with the Sony STR-DH790 receiver in a 13′ x 13′ room with 9′ ceiling.
Do you know if these are Dolby Atmos compatible? Or would I have to add some height speakers to be able to that? Thank You!

These speakers are still viable in small and medium sized rooms. Theyll probably be viable 10 years from now.
Mind you I mostly roll with B&W speakers these days.

Best to put sub on a wall and about 4-6 inches away from wall. Never put sub on open space

‘Did a search for reference speaker reviews, and this was a result.
I’m not sure that this setup, or any part of it, would provide what I need, as I’m looking monitors, to knock out some light sound production.
By the way, if you have any suggestions, on good, budget reference monitors, new or used, I would really appreciate your sharing.

Each piece made me want to listen to whatever soundtrack they might have come from, and at least download the tracks that I heard.
Your audio and video editing skills showed me that there’s a lot more that I want to learn.

Klipsch speakers are not bright, they are articulate and revealing,.If you run them with an amplifier or source which is bight they will sem bright , if you run them with a smoother sounding amplifier they will sound much better.All Klipsch speakers are extremely articulate, and revealig.If yougive them crap they will sound like crap.
