Was really hoping for a ring or arm hr monitor from garmin. Still waiting for a device to record HR DATA that isn’t a watch or chest strap.

HIGH time for Garmin to bring g out a really Apple watch competitor, maybe Venu 4, with offline voice commands for timer, alarm, reminder, voice note. And with possibility to download maps.

If Garmin wanted an absolute killer, basically make a whoop band with solar. No buttons, no display, just a solar panel for infinite runtime and an Elevate 5 sensor or better. No UI except for via the app. Make it affordable and maybe allow for it being worn on both wrist and arm and voila.
This Renpho Rinf was really Beatiful. Already a Ring with more then one Color in it.

Want Garmin to release a newer fitness band/tracker… I’m all in the Garmin eco system (watch, scales etc) but I like to wear "real" mechanical watches too. Still want to track, receive messages/mails etc through a Garmin device. The current bands from them are outdated…did you see newer bands? Thx for the cool summup of the fitness devices!!!

Will be fun when my patients begin requesting next inaccurate piece of garbage to avoid a stick … already have some that buy “made in China” watches that promise this very thing no matter how much counseling is provided. False promises that do nothing but make pharmacotherapy management more difficult. SMH
How about Garmin just update the Connect app so your HR chest strap does not require a watch. Ridiculous how they make you use another app like Polar app to view your workout. Crazy.

It would great if we could find out if and when Garmin will have passive ecg monitoring like the Apple Watch, Samsung and Fitbit have already. This allows the watch to always be looking for Afib and not dependent on taking a manual reading. Hoping this is a software update and that new hardware is not required to have this feature. I have asked Garmin about this and so far have not gotten a response. If and when you are able to find out about this, it would be very helpful for those of us that need this feature to avoid wearing two watches. Keep up the great work Dave.

Can you help me to use camera control on amazfit trex 3. I have downloaded the application. But not coming out on my trex 3 screen. Does it happen only to me? I can use it to control the phone camera when I used the trex 2 before.

A basic NFC enabled wearable device that serves as a digital signature for interacting with NFC devices like locks or ID verification and the capacity for storing and exchanging data like a preconfigured data exchange upon contact with another linked NFC device us all a lot of us want from a wearable smart device like a smart ring. Surely tech giants can make a simple device like this one that harvests the voltage present on the wearers skin, just like Jackom did about 10 yrs ago.
cool video! … I am very interested in Vuzix. They make smart glasses and, as far as i know, work together with garmin. Maybe you review those products one day.
Curious about that pepaminto mattress! I can’t imagine it working as well as active cooling but I think that majority of people don’t even know how much of a better sleep they can be having! The price is just too high for active cooling at the moment.
Army went with Oura Ring and it is more accurate than Garmin for sleep at least.

Thanks for the insight, but where the hell is Garmin Forerunner 975, the one I’ve been waiting for all 2024 and I even bypass some of the discounts on the 965 because I wanted to get the 975.
I have a WHOOP band, and lately, it skips some sleep cycles. Want to replace it and thinking of the Garmin Instinct 3 amulet 50mm. And for recovery since I am an avid bicyclist. You agree?
