  1. One thing I would try, considering your knowledge, passion and capabilities budget wise.

I would have a full analysis post installation of acoustics and get some softer interior, rugs, etc., to minimize any few % of echoes.

Instead of regular soft tissue panels/porous absorbers you definetely need a combination of a porous absorber, membrane absorber and a resonant absorber. I’m sure it would do magic for your overall listening experience. Considering the setup as a whole, a 3% increase in overall sound experience could be a great investment.

I’m no audiophile but I love setting up smaller systems and I just took a tiny step into the HI-FI world with some Cambridge Audio equipment.

  2. With that kind of power which has the ability to blow ear drums and power outdoor stadium speakers you would need to be careful and check the volume level knob before you start listening to music.. incredible system …

  3. Your setup in you room is awful, no way you are getting the sound stage those speakers can produce.

  4. Congratulations, The system looks a beautiful as it sounds. It’s downright works of art.

  5. Als je gehoor apparaat heb en je heb ruis..welke filter moet je dan in drukken….wat kost verzekering naar nieuw..inbrekers en 100% lucht vochtig heid😅😢😢😢😢😢😢🤑🥲

  6. Sublime equipment….of course our fragile human ears have to be 1000% on-point intact and ready to receive sound information perfectly to warrant anywhere near this expense.

  7. I have a new Aryilc B50SE dac/amp and it does everything I want, 30 watts of Class D magic, for under £100. Reckon I’d have to pay over £2k to better the sound quality.

  8. Quality source components let down by speakers built from mdf. Think Magico – better materials in cabinet, drivers, maybe crossover as well. Also better looks and cachet if that matters.

  9. We got it, you won the lottery lol. My setup cost under $1000 and sounds more than good enough!

  10. "Warning to the Poors! This demo played back on your broke system isn’t representative of my expensive system’s performance! " There fixed it! 🤣

  11. You don’t need this to play this crappy music. In my hi end headphones it reminds me of youth disco in the seventies.

  12. Wouldn’t buying the professional speakers used at the concerts and music halls be the "cheapest" way to get a very similar sound to the original?

As the original was played through those pro speakers.

Pro woofers are arround 2000 and line array 1000-2000 a piece I think, which would be cheaper than this.

  13. Man, that picture of your setup is such a beauty. Having all that awesome gear and getting it setup to suit your tastes is such a fantastic journey. Love it.

  14. Have you ever had the opportunity to hear the Despacio system? Best I’ve ever heard in person. And the most Mackintosh blue glow I’ve ever seen in one place.
I used to build custom systems for raves, even made a copy of the legendary "Levan Horn" once.
I don’t have anywhere near your budget but have some really lovely vintage stuff. 100lb Wharfedales from the 60s, linear phase arrays from the 70s, and a quad biradial setup from the 80s complete with a DBX vinyl decoder unit.
Everything is driven either by external studio grade DACs, lossless digital, or pure analog. And I’ve never bought a single component, just always given a loving home to stuff that’s crossed my path. The quest for the ultimate hi-fi is a beautiful thing because we can have fun at any price range, including free ♥️
    Enjoy ♥️

  15. I think you should try a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beolab 90, and you will see😉

  16. It looks nice, it probably sounds good but I like it simple. Tube Amp, Record player and speakers end of the set up 🎉❤
Every single electronic in the chain don’t make it better in my opinion 🤢
Bin there did it and was never happy.
And I can’t be friends with B&W never ever sorry 😢

  17. Peut-être la dernière fois que l’on voit du Mackintosh 😢 a cause de ses nuls de Bose qui n’ont rien a foutre dans la hi-fi avec leur sonorité affreuse qui fait juste boum boum 😤🤮🤮

  18. I grew up on a transistor radio. In 1973, my introduction to Hi Fidelity was a Marantz 2220 receiver through Bose 601’s. Playing La Grange off the Tres Hombre’s album. In 1975, went out and bought my Marantz system. When I first
heard MacIntosh, I wanted one. But.. Back then and the same as the way I feel today. There’s no way I would spend this kind of money on a system. Maybe if I had the money to piss away on it? I don’t know. 🤷

  19. Nice impressive system. I made a turntable support out of Fibrelam, much better than a Glass Shelf, as it had zero resonance. I have never found expensive connecting cable better than 2.5mm copper house hook-up wire. Any difference is unheard by the average ear, and often, a live music performance can sound awful, and worse than a recording.

  20. Hello from Finland. I have a Denon HEOS Bar and subwoofer connected to an old OLED TV from LG.

Do I plan to upgrade? Oh, yes! I was thinking about an NAD M33, DALI Rubicon floorstanders and an FM tuner. Not really ‘grand audiophile’ gear, but probably sounds great connected to a new TV.

I do believe in cables, but I would not pay tens of thousands of euros just because I can. Probably a mid-range set of power cables and interconnects from Audioquest and DALIs own loudspeaker cables.
