I have the Elgato Facecam and the Facecam Pro and both of them end up with a lot of stutter on Discord and sometimes even a blank screen completely with a game running. Struggled a lot with the Facecam Pro to dial in settings without a key light as my room has some purple lights and my face looks like it has been charred on a grill. I do not know what I am doing wrong but I reverted back to a cheap webcam for now. Will consider the Obsbot.
I have the Elgato. It’s just too bulky for my tastes. I’m currently using an Anker PowerConf 300. I love the look and size. The software allows for tweaking. IMO the video looks great.
are you able to tweak the insta360 to get similar results as the elgato?

This is pretty off topic but I’m streaming currently with an elgato webcam and I have the blur image background effect but sometimes, randomly it will just NOT work! I have no idea why it’s happening but it’s frustrating enough to not want to mess with elgato anymore.

04:12 I agree. A phone can give an amazing image. The downside (that I have found) is that regardless of connecting it wirelessly or with some USB trickery, there is ALWAYS a bit of video latency. For uses like me (musicians who run their audio through an audio interface), it’s absolutely impossible to perfectly sync the audio and video. The video is always going to have a few milliseconds delay, causing the audio/video of playing a musical piece to look like an old Chinese Kungfu movie, with the audio always being ever-so-slightly ahead of the video. In other words, my fingers on the strings of my guitar are always slightly out of sync between the audio and video. Trying out the "smartphone option" is a good proof-of-concept to see what a good quality "camera" can look like, but in reality, it’s not a viable option for a musician. I don’t care about cameras following me around the room. I just want the highest quality video that is perfectly synchronized with my audio track, from a fixed camera mount position.

Getting the Insta360 Link 2C, the phone camera just doesn’t work well for me because I personally need to have constant access to my phone. I’m impressed with the quality of all the webcams in this video.
I think you need to bring tiny 2 lite instead of meet 2 if you want to do comparison with link 2or 2c
Can you please make a video on how to connect all of these USB-C devices to our computers? I only have one USB-C port on my computer. I’ve tried several adapters and hubs, and can’t find the right one to power my hardware. I DJ on Twitch and need my one port to power my Focusrite 4i4.

I tried EpocCam but it added a noticeable delay in the audio. So I couldn’t speak to anyone else. Did anyone else have that issue? Do any of the other cams cause delay?
Got the Elgato 4k60 in 2023 and I’m glad that it still holds up to this day.
where is obsbot tiny 2 light? I was thinking that is the best so far but meet 2 def is good one
it appeared insta360 gives sharper images than obsbot.
I use my iPhone 12 max and camo studio free app perfect set up better then any web cam

I find it confusing you were raving about the razer kiyo pro to the point you convinced me that I wanted to buy it, but now it doesn’t even make this video so I’m totally confused. Also I can’t find the first video anymore did you delete it?

Since I can’t install the software on my work computer I’m looking for a webcam with onboard storage for some basic settings like white-balance, resolution & fps and maybe even the framing that I can set up with my private PC and then just take to work and plug in there with the settings still on the device.
Do any of these cams work like that?
I’m currently on an Elgato FaceCam MK1 that supports this but is a bit iffy with the settings not being saved 100% correctly so I’m looking to switch.
Any good budget camera that is good in low light? I dont have the light setup like you do, so when i tried a Elgato Facecam, i get very bad performance, even tho i sit next to a window. 🙂
Do you have reccomendations for a webcam that has the ability to be turned on/off with a macro or keystroke that does NOT involve disconnecting it from power like a switch? I have a webcam already, but I really dislike always having to turn it on and off manually whenever I join discord or other meeting apps.
