I Tested $1200 Worth Of MagSafe Multi-Chargers – Which Ones Was Best?
Choosing the best MagSafe 3 in 1 Charger isn’t just about brands. It’s about performance, reliability, and standing the test of everyday use. A little over a year ago, we figured that the Belkin Boost Charge Pro was the best multi-charger. Is that still the case? Monty and I have tested $1200 dollars worth of Made For MagSafe Multi-Chargers and there are some great products!
Overall, the Made For MagSafe chargers in this video performed significantly better than the previous generation of multi-chargers. The difference between 7.5W of Qi-charging with the 15W of MagSafe charging is definitely faster!

4. ESR Halolock 3 in 1 Charger – I’ll be honest with you, I was bamboozled by this product. Why? Because in my search for Made For Magsafe chargers, I saw this Made For Apple Watch and thought it was Made For Magsafe. This charger is slow BUT not as slow as the Mophie. The only redeeming feature about this product is the price and the portable Apple Watch charger.
5. The Anker Series 737 is a decent charger. It’s priced a little cheaper at $140 dollars but that’s it’s only redeeming feature because the charge speeds are below average. The AirPods charge pad isn’t big enough to charge anything else except a set of AirPods.
6. The Normal Belkin Boost Charge? Again, runs hot and charges slowly like it’s Pro cousin but costs just as much as the Pro. This flat charger has a feature that allows you to raise the Apple Watch charger to accommodate larger devices.
7. The Nomad Base One pulled a fast one on me as I thought the space behind here, was for my headphones. It’s not. The unit doesn’t come with a charger, you have to supply your own which is annoying BUT the biggest slap in the face is the fact that my Apple Watch Ultra with a case doesn’t fit on the charger.
8. The ex-winner, the Belking Boost Charge Pro is slow, runs hot and but looks decent and the build quality is great. The Charge Pro was the best product out of all the MagSafe compatible multi-chargers but when put in a competition with equivalent products, gets blown away…
9. The Mophie 3 in 1 Travel Charger came in dead last because it’s dead slow. Yes, Mophie is trying to fix it but as it stands now, this cheap feeling product is terrible. The felt bag is nice but who would pay $150 for a felt bag?

Hi, I love your reviewing and Monty of course. But seeing your multi chargers you seem to have missed a trick…. I use a multi charger from ESR and the charger has a fan built in! which they call "Cryoboost". Knowing that temp is so important for battery longevity my phone on the MagSafe stand with "Cryoboost" my phone is absolutely cool as it charges. I’m sure this will increase the life of our batteries. (Which I guess phone companies won’t like). I’d love to see you review it. I don’t know how much charge speed is like but it seems good to me.

If I get the anker 3 in 1 cube with the 36W charger, would it make any difference in charging if I use a 45W brick?

Your dog is super adorable. I think pet owners are amazing who are able to show such love and care for their pets for years on end. It just warms the heart to see the bond last a life time.
I’ve had several of these. The two of the Mophie chargers and they lasted no time before they quit working reliably…total garbage. The Belkin One Boost Charge Pro…had two and they’ve been okay, had times where it didn’t charge one of the devices on it for whatever reason. Also don’t like that several of these use cables that aren’t usb-c, meaning I have to carry more. I’ve had the Anker 3-in-1 as of late and had pretty good luck with it. I like that it’s small for travel, and uses a usb-c cable. And yes, could carry multiple bricks and charging cables (one for the phone, one for my watch, one for my AirPods etc.) but, been plenty of places where three plugs aren’t handy. I also like my setup together, which leaves it less likely I’ll forget to leave with all of my devices and chargers. Costs more, but a cleaner solution for my liking.

Owning an iPhone is already a con. You can’t even share wifi hotspot while connected to a wifi. You can’t set alarm custom snooze time to other than the default one. What kind of phone is that

Nice video. I don’t feel like charge speed should be very important… much more important to me would be the charger that helps extend the life of my devices’ batteries. I’ve heard that fast charging is not good for my devices… I assume because it normally makes the battery hot. I’m almost always charging while I’m sleeping, so there’s plenty of time for my devices to recharge. After longevity, I’d like the ranking to consider portability, aesthetics, horizontal positioning to use the nightstand mode, and lack of lights on the charging device… so many of those chargers have lights – some light up in the middle of the night when the phone stops charging because it’s maxed out. No lights, please! Charge speed is a distant concern beyond all of those.

7:41 I would rather use a cable (oem) than pay over $200 to place my phone on a stand while charging. It’s pretty much same but different design.
İf i am a sleep, i would ‘t care about the speed. 7 hours time must be enough for charging. Fast charging = heat = not good for the battery. Seeing the clock is my musthave.

Great review, but I do have some questions. Is there a reason you did not post charging times, it is hard to tell if the differences are significant or small. Each person has a different idea on what fast & slow are, but if you post the times everyone can make their own assessments. Is that something you can do?

Came in having watched another video. I’m sick of my cheap Amazon $30 one that keeps glitching on and off charging my watch , doesn’t charge my phone anymore so I figured let me do some research and educate myself

The Anker Cube charger works the best because my Apple Watch strap is one piece which wouldn’t work in the Mous charging stand.
Great videos man! I’ve been doing extensive research on finding a magsafe charger for my Samsung s24 Ultra. I have a magsafe compatible case, but it’s on the thick side. The original Apple Magsafe Wireless Charger is only giving me 3 Watts at most and drops constantly. Any alternative recommendations? Much appreciated and keep up the good work. 👍

They all suck. If you carry any cards at all on the back of the phone, even in a "Magsafe" pouch purchased from Apple, the phone will not stay attached. I paid $129 for that stupid cube. Yeah, it’s cute, but the phone falls off of it with a Magsafe pouch. Since there is no base to rest the phone on, it could easily hit the floor. Why does anyone need this crap? Why are people too lazy to plug a charger into the phone’s base? Is breathing too much work for people, too?

I use Samsung and we have been wireless charging since before the iPhone but now that the iPhone is doing it – everyone is making great accessories.
AND because of Magsafe – the other phones can piggyback on the designed for iPhone accessories now.
What do you think about an Android video….or including Android in a review of this one as an addendum if you like.

thanks this is really helpful XD after watching quite some of all these "crap" that suppose to make life easier….. but ended up I think the most basic way is the best , fast charging and just buy any china simple phone + iwatch rack to hold it if wanna keep it neat …hahah XD
