I’ve seen so many film enthusiasts with thousands of blu-rays in a collection and 4Ks too but have cheap equipment. You don’t need top of the line if you mostly stream but if you love to collect a wide variety of films and spending thousands a year on buying films at least have an above average setup
I have a region locked X800M2 for 4K and domestic blus, is there a non-4K region free player from 220 you recommend?
I am one of those people who uses their game console to play 4Ks lol. I do want to upgrade to a more capable player whenever I also get a 4K TV that is Dolby Vision capable. As it stands my current LG is just regular ol’ HDR.
I got the Sony UBP-X700 myself. Works great.
I purchased the UB820 from 220 Electronics and it is by far the best region free player I’ve ever had. Well worth the money!
