mixing on monitors is devious
I knew it was over when I saw the soundgoodizer
I think the best in order goes by the high end mix is the best, then the beginner mix because it sounds more clean, and lastly the mid mix because it’s so loud and feels like you are losing so much detail in the song – almost the same as turning everything max volume and putting it through a compressor and limiter, ruins the entire song.
Simon’s Mix was cooler.

if you do this again, you should allow a bit more time. In my opinion, the difference between the 3 tiers would be a lot more noticeable. A seasoned engineer can get a 70% the way there very quickly, but its that last 30% that really shows the value of running a mix through someone with experience. That 30% just comes with time.

Can you make a video on how to mix and master beats? I’m so confused because everyone has their own way, but I trust your methods.
Just someone with some experience with mixing, dont wear your hoodie or anything over your ears as you mix (unless they’re headphones). It may seem little, but it does affect the way you hear your mix
