  1. What about casting to the TV? My quest 2 is beyond laggy, to the point of being unusable in that regard. Prior to my Quest I had an HTC Vive that I could plug directly into my TV with virtually no lag. I will often play with my family who like to watch so this is a dealbreaker feature for me. Is there a wireless VR headset that as nearly lag-less casting (possibly a direct connection option) or is that just a pipe dream?

  2. bro this is an awesome guide for a newbie to vr like me, thank you so much! And hopefully very soon you will get the first youtube 100k plaque)

  3. I am blind in one eye but I have read that VR will work, not the best, but works. I am guessing some VR sets would be better than others for me. Any recommendations for one eye guys?

  4. how can a meta product be a easy choice? This shit is probably come with tons of telemetry, more than any other option

  5. This is probably the most helpful VR headset video thus far especially as more and more VR versions keep coming out .

  6. Hi, I’m a competitive player, and I want to perform in FPS VR multiplayer games like Pavlov.
My common sense tells me that it doesn’t feel like a very heavy helmet on my head.
I don’t care about the price, I want the most optimized one.

  7. I just got my Quest 3 and I think my fav accessory so far is… A spill proof drinking cup with a built in Straw. 😜 I can’t help it. I get thirsty and don’t want to take the headset all the way off to drink. πŸ‘

  8. If you’re paying 5 hundred plus the fact you need to purchase additional accessories is mind boggling like make that shit right the first time.

  9. Nobody likes someone with perfect teeth, pal! (He’s not real, bud, he’s like virtual) Oh, well I feel better! πŸ™‚

  10. Hey awesome video, I had a question in relation to gear (for comfort and motion sickness), what gear do you recommend for standing players with limited room space (like an attached harness) and for sitting gamers, I saw the Roto VR chair- would you recommend?

  11. I recently bought a Quest3, and i’m wondering where should I primarily get the apps/games from. I have a very good PC as well, and i did try some stuff through virtual desktop wireless streaming to the Quest as well as standalone.
I did encounter some issues with broken/missing controls when using VD and SteamVR and some tracking isses, but most games look better like this. Would you, in general, recommend getting the games on Steam, on the Quest store itself or on the Oculus Rift store if they are available in multiple places?

  12. For motion sickness, go straight to Elite Dangerous. Every game made with sick until I sat in my Vulture’s cockpit for 6hrs. Something about being in that cockpit kept me from getting nauseous at all. After a couple weeks, I tried From Other Suns with natural motion and I’ve been good since.

  13. What a cutie! So easy to listen to and follow. I’m 61 and have been searching for an intro to VR that makes sense to my "Generation Jones" mind! Your video is by far the best one I’ve found. So many of them just lost me, going too fast and trying to sell me high-end equipment when I’m just not sure! It’s been discouraging and overwhelming! But your intro was honest, professional, straight -forward and easy to understand. I am so excited to get started!

  14. I know nothing, absolutely nothing about this VR world. And, at 65 yrs of age, I certainly do not game. What I do know is that you can evidently use VR along with Google Earth to visit and move around anywhere in the world. As an avid traveler, this seems very interesting to me. In the travel circles most mention Oculus but it’s not mentioned much in the gaming Youtube circles. Do you have any suggestions on where I could go for more info?

  15. I have no experience of VR, apart from watching reviews like yours. I’m elderly, and confined to my wheelchair. I’m fortunate enough to own a high end desktop PC and a large monitor, and budget is not a problem. Can you please do a full review – starting with the basic question – is VR gaming (or viewing ?) even possible from a wheelchair ? I’m not ‘quick’ enough to play regular fast action games, but I do enjoy playing ETS 2 – being able to play this game in VR would be enough (for me at least) to justify the cost lay out for VR. Finally – do you know of any web sites that cater specifically for VR users who are confined to a wheelchair ?

  16. Thank you for the informative video yet at the same time this felt like a facebook ad campaign. No offense btw. However, if the industry is that heavily meta dominant; I will rather wait for a two or three more generations for a free market competition to settle things down to a preferred quality level. Also heard Valve is bringing a new gen gizmo to Steam sometime around Q3 or Q4 of 2025 so that might freshen things up. Definitely not a fan of Facebook Inc. and this whole thing feels like they are taking the Apple route right here so competition is a must to take a monopoly down.

  17. Important shoutout: do NOT push through motion sickness, NO MATTER how much you enjoy the game. I bought my oculus rift s in 2020 and started with skyrim vr and HLA, everything with stick moving. I was pushing through the motion sickness and my body developed strong connection between "vr" and "motion sickness". I was getting motion sickness not only by playing vr, but even if I was thinking about playing it. It’s 2025 now and I finally overcame this and now can stand playing short (30m-1h) sessions of games with moving.

Your body connects things with bad feelings VERY fast, and these connections are VERY strong, so it will probably will take you years to adapt if you repeat my mistakes

  18. Exactly the video i was looking for. Has 0 experience in VR until I tried it in an arcade. Will definitely try Quest 3S, seems like a good entry point for VR.

  19. I seen seperate router for VR mentioned, if money no object, is it worth and how does that work please? I don’t own a VR yet, good PC with wifi6+ router already going. Thnx.
