A Battery that lasts 50 YEARS? – a NUCLEAR Battery #nuclear
Clarification: I misspoke – the current version of this battery is 100 microwatts according to Betavolt Technology Company, with the goal of achieving a 1 watt power output to power a phone or similar device. So, it can’t power a phone yet.
Those new batteries can do anything except leave the lab..
Dont they use these in Satalites ?
Of course, no company mass manufactured it
Wealthy will never allow it
I thought you were credible and legit. But you’re just another grifter looking for likes and views. "Do not recommend channel"
He’s reacting to pictures now
"Omggg it’s radioactiveee!!!"
Next thing you know it’s banned
*Theoretically safe
Production mistakes and, damage to the battery casing could still lead to radiation poisioning.

One problem! Its fucking low output e*
OOPS, I made a mistake. 100 microwatts will NOT charge a phone (at least not in a reasonable amount of time). 100 microwatts is the current version according to Betavolt Technology Company. The version they are hoping to produce by 2025 for phones is 1 Watt.
Thanks again for all your corrections in the comments!
Put this stuff in phones today
Great. By the time my iPhone 14 Pro is fully charged in 15 years I’ll be able to afford the iPhone 16 Pro
500 microwatts would take looong time to charge the phone. Perhaps 500 milliwatts
Only 1000$ measly dollars for 1? Sign me up!
Looking for Drone warfare comments
Maybe could be used for wearable health sensors (e.g., heart rate monitors),
remote environmental sensors (e.g., soil moisture),
IoT devices (e.g., smart home sensors),
active RFID tags/BLE beacons or
implantable medical devices (e.g., biosensors).
And could I make a car battery
Could I make one at home?
So this is the battery for the Nintendo DS!
is he f real ?
fore refrence 100 microwatts equals to 0.0001 watts it surely can charge your phone it might even power a city with that wattage the limits is your imagination
For a small price of 55k dollars
Its enough for motherboard bios, or anything that need real time tracking or constant power delivery, not sure about phones tho
0.0001 watts
I’m a true sigma & I dint use anything that has beta in it
0.0001 watts
Imagine that shit being inside a home
“Wouldn’t it be nice” if we could trust people to properly use stuff like this without worry about their stupidity in making the device a b0mp, not something that could hurt others, and be able to dispose of their defective/broken devices properly (vs just taking the easier and lazy way of throwing them into their everyday rubbish). We as a species and culture have zero right to items like these when we can’t do the everyday simple acts to protect this unique and beautiful gift of a planet and love/respect one another.
Is it edible? Asking for a friend.
And what is the cost of this battery?
Gommie
I think people are missing the point. Not all electronic devices use tons of energy. Stuff like this is useful for ultra low power sensors/controllers. Phones are somewhat poorly designed from a power perspective in order to support high performance.
Cant last for 1 week on the xbox controller
Unironically the coolest thing ive ever seen
*breaks phone* YO THIS RADIATION IS COOL! 5 minutes later: *dies*
I’m being legit
Hello soviet rtg 2 electric boogaloo
Now what if we could produce a battery like this that doesn’t charge a phone, but is in the phone… we wouldn’t have to charge a phone that lasts 50 years. Hell 5 years would be more than enough for most phones.
But then again: once people hear anything that remotely sounds like radioactive the proven safety of the device is completely irrelevant
Can i plug it into my xbox controller?
"…no fire or acid risk if punctured…"
Yeahh… The risk is the radiation when punctured
Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet folks
Big Battery is shaking in their boots rn
This would be cool if manufacturing costs weren’t literally nuclear and the possibility of a TikTok trend of opening the up and swallowing the nickel existing
100 microwatts and a 50 year life span!! I could charge my phone twice in that time!!! Remarkable!
The battery charging bit
you just lost some of your credibility
I will buy 2.000 of the 1 watt version and remove myself from the grit.
Well did they make a 1 watt version?
Well at least when the apocalypse comes we have energy!!
